HELB at the 16th Symposium HRO CIGRE: 35 years of development and global projects in the power industry
Over the past three decades, HELB has carried out projects in more than 50 countries worldwide and in all regions of Croatia.
From November 4 to 7, 2024, Cavtat hosted the 16th Symposium of the Croatian National Committee of CIGRE (HRO CIGRE), one of the most significant events for energy sector professionals. This prestigious event brought together approximately 800 participants, and HELB once again participating as a sponsor, further solidifying its position as a leader in the power industry.
This year’s participation marked the beginning of HELB’s 35th-anniversary celebration. Over the past three decades, HELB has carried out projects in more than 50 countries worldwide and in all regions of Croatia. The design of HELB’s exhibition booth visually showcased its extensive contributions to the power sector – from local projects to international achievements.
During the symposium, the focus was placed on the rapid growth of solar power plants and self-supply energy systems. These trends underline the critical role of technological innovation and strategic investments in a sustainable energy future. Other key topics included decarbonization, as well as the development of the power system and electricity market.
In conclusion, the 16th HRO CIGRE Symposium once again highlighted the importance of collaboration and knowledge exchange among experts as essential steps toward a sustainable energy future.
